This completes the trio of cards featuring the same die. The tweaks today relate to colour, the addition of a stencilled background and ribbon.
Here’s how it looks- card three:
Here’s what you will need.:
I selected a rectangle of the inked background card, this time in peach and apricot tones.
I stencilled some meadow flowers using distress ink.
Next I die cut the blooms in gold satin card.I rounded the corners of the inked background and edged with a purple alcohol marker.
I mounted on to purple card and made a DL card blank from a sheet of peach mottled card.
After this I stuck down a strip of purple satin ribbon before mounting the topper which was stuck down using foam pads. A bow was added to the side.
Finally I added four tiny butterflies cut from pink glitter card for a bit of sparkle!
There you have it!!
Same die, three takes:
And there’s so much more you could do!
Comments and or questions very welcome.
A beautiful trio of cards Lisa. Really shows off the Larkspur die and I love the use of the bee die – makes a great alternative to butterflies and not seen much on cards.
Thanks Laureen. The bees are cute!
