I thought it might be an opportune time to share one of my powertex creations it being Halloween and all! Gruesome Gretta may look like she’s made from fabric but she’s as solid as a rock and weatherproof! A grave sight indeed!

You will also need a stand with either a wooden or metal pin centre.

Once the basic frame is painted with powertex the fabric and cotton is then dipped in powertex and draped around the figure.

Allow to dry overnight. The statue becomes stiff and hard. I then dry brushed it to highlight the texture with silver and white pigment powder.

It feels like stone after a few days!…but not pretty!
