Snow snow snow

These little bunnies have featured heavily in my Christmas cards this year. So when I saw the Indigoblu blog stamping challenge I thought…it would be rude not too! So here’s my entry.- the theme is ‘snow snow snow ‘ … It came first in the top three picks by the lovely indigoblu design team!! Thank you.

To make the card you will need:

To begin sprinkle drawing gum on to watercolour card. I always use Crafter’s companion. Dry, then mask off the moon and the horizon.

Next brush the sky area with water and using the sparkle pens in a water colour fashion randomly add colour to the sky. (Wet on wet)

Next remove the masks and stamp the trees over the top in black ink.

Mask some hills in the fore ground and lightly ink in dark blue .

Stamp the bunnies in black then remove mask.

Take the small tree stamp and use to stamp foliage at the front right of the scene.

Then rub away the drawing gum and cut out.

I edged the card in black and mounted on complimentary black and purple card. I also edged the black card in gold.

I stamped the sentiment and added to the top.

Finally I highlighted parts of the snow in yellow and peach to warm up the scene.

Love my new tree stamp!
