This is the first in a series of 4 samples using the Diesire Mixed Media dies from Crafter’s Companion. This time I am sharing some card making ideas. The dies are the same as those featured in January and March this year.

For today’s project Ive used the ‘Cogs in Motion’ set. This time I wanted to use industrial type elements with a feminine theme. The main cutting materials were copper aluminium and mount board. For the card I used Centura Pearl in teal and some complimentary patterned papers to pick up the tones of the faux copper patina.

The above elements were left overs from another project. Waste not want not!

Once the texture was added the elements were then inked. I experimented with a larger layout at first but then decided to scale it down as the brief was a card!!

The foil was attached using brads. It was a difficult material to work with!
