The next few projects were inspired by a technique used by my fellow design team member Julia (Vamp crafter). Julia made a beautiful daisy frame project for the Crafter’s Inspration magazine 14. For the daisy centres she used a hot glue gun and gold micro beads. I now have become obsessed with daisies!
So after making a few daisies I raided my scrap box which has foiling projects and inky backgrounds and put together a few cards using leftovers!
Using coated card (shiney surface) and a Sheena embossing folder I hot foiled the embossed image using gold foil and the Todo machine. ( see posts from April 2016 ) I then inked over the top with distress inks using torn paper to mask hills and sky. I doodled stems and leaves on the foreground with an alcohol marker before sticking down the daisies. The daisies are die cut using spellbinder dies, lightly inked. The centres are a blob of glue from hot glue gun and gold micro beads on top before it sets.
I stamped and heat embossed a Leonie Pujol sentiment across the top- ‘Wishing you a day full of happiness and love’ . It wasn’t very clear but oh well!!
Matted up on complimentary card… Easy peesy! X

Thanks Cynthia. Very kind. X
Gorgeous, love the colours and textures
Thank you! Xx
A fabulous card Lisa. Thank you for sharing your techniques, micro beads for flower centres is such a good idea. You had me thinking I needed a To-do machine (not sure Mr H would agree), maybe one day. 😁. Xx
Thanks Allison! It was Julia’s idea in the CC magazine. She inspired me. Did wey too many daisy cards!! X
