Testing and experimenting with my new distress oxide inks continues with this quick watercolour painting

Using the wet on wet technique and watercolour card I brushed some colour in yellow, red, blue and purple. The background scene was then given perspective by stamping a couple of meadow stamps and the birds on a wire from Bee crafty.

In the end I strengthened the foreground by scribbling some shadows using my art liner pens and added a few die cuts in black using a foliage die from Tattered lace.

I also stencilled some extra birds in the background .
