Hi everyone today is a special day because it’s the day I get to begin sharing the magical Sara Signiture range- Flutterby launching on Hochanda tv on Friday 20th October 2017.

My first sample is a giant tag mixed media piece using two of the stamp sets and the Botanical butterfly stamp and die set which I adore!

To create this tag I selected Pebeo acrylic paints including dyna irredescent paint in pinks, blues and yellows. I applied this randomly and once dry covered areas with crackle paste ((Deco Art). I inked and painted over this. Distress oxides were also used.

I used ‘ Scripture’ and Textured Elements’ stamp sets to add texture and the small butterflies. Glass orbs create the bubble effect and pen nibs embellish the butterflies. The large butterfly was also coloured with acrylic paint. Aqua tint inks were used to sprinkle dots for extra texture. The sentiment, also from the range was die cut in black card. Complimentary ribbons added the finishing touch.
