Today there are no butterflies😞but fear not! .. horses are better! I’m sharing a card that I made for a dear friend. I was delighted to use one of my new stencils teamed up with some of my favourite stamps. I set myself the challenge of doing a ‘clean and simple’ card with one layer and this is the result . Not like me I know.
Here is what I used:
Although the stencil is square in shape I enjoyed extending part of the design. I love this stencil it might be my new favourite!
I decided to stick to two colours. I used distress oxide peacock feathers and standard distress ink – picked raspberry. Some oxinated metal embellishments to suit the revolutionary theme finished it off strung on bakers twine. ( I hope the Catalonians aren’t reading this)
The cardstock was Sheena stamping card and Centura Pearl in fusia.
Well I hope you enjoyed my departure from butterflies.
Hope you had a happy birthday Rebecca!
Catch you tomorrow.
Lisa xx
