The main image was taken from this sheet:
So here’s how to alter it and make her a little more spooky!
How it was done:
Attach watercolour card to an mdf tag. Taking care to sand the edges. Mask a circle using pebeo masking fluid.
Using Sheena Douglass Spectrum noir sparkle pens in purples and grey watercolour the background.
Remove the gum and stamp in the moon using a moon stamp from Lavinia stamps. Lightly colour in pale yellow. Then using the Sacred tree tamp from Lavinia and Scary tree stamp from Sheena Douglass- ‘A little bit sketchy’ stamp trees and twigs in the background.
The focal image:
Die cut the ‘Autumnal Pumkin’ die from Tattered lace and the witches hat from the Sizzix Halloween die set. Fussy cut the figure. Colour the pumpkin using the sparkle pens. Highlight the image; narrow the face; edge, colour and highlight the body including adding purple socks. I also darkened the features on the face to create a more sinister look.
Shadows were added to the pumpkin and the image complete with hat adhered together.
Using the sizzix set again a couple of spiders webs and mini pumpkins were cut and coloured. Some green wire was twisted to add texture to the top of the pumpkin. I gathered some left over printables from a previous project including the ‘scary words’ A few extras including black thread were also gathered . A bat stamp was stamped and embossed from the Bee Crafty ‘All Hallows’ set.
The tag was assembled:
Some spiders web, a plastic spider and potion bottles added the finishing touches.
Till next time….
Boo!!!
Brilliant
