Express yourself with Art

Hi everyone it’s me back again with my ink spillage art journal series and another video.A huge thank you for those if you who subscribed and liked my project! Today’s video is a little better so I hope to encourage the undeciders to give it a go!Im gradually getting the hang of it.

I thought I would do some stamping and collage using rice paper. This has become very popular and I’ve discovered over the last few months just how useful it is for layered mixed media pieces where sometimes ‘stamp to project’ clear images are hard to achieve. I’ve also used a mixture of water based distress oxides along with acrylic paint. I like the effects of how they mix with the oxides bleeding through. I’ve indulged in some of my favourite stamps from Visible Image and Carabelle studio just because I can!

The video will take you through the stages from ink blot card to finished piece. I promised though to set out the products used:

Visible Image stamp sets: ink plats; mesh-ellaneous; glimmer of light:express yourself; scripted streets;

I have a few still shots. The camera decided to take a break in the middle when I was flicking ink. So here’s what the video missed.
