Hello I’m back with some more inspiration for the Lavinia stamps ‘bright and beautiful’ May challenge.

Here’s what I used:

I began the project using a piece of scrap card which already had some acrylic paint marks on it. These marks looked a bit like flowers. I thought that I could develop it into a scene. So I took out my Stabilo pastel pencils and added colour to the page. First for the sky and then a mixture of greens, pinks and purples in the foreground.I stamped the seed heads in pale reds and oranges (versamark ink) and the buttercups in black.
I stamped the main image in black and heat embossed using clear powder. I masked off parts of the other hares stamping them in grey so that they appeared to be in the background.
I added the birds and the trailing foilage along with some gold and glitter dots. (Diamond stickles)
I doodled some grass and highlighted this, the foilage and hare in white.
I added a dark shadow in front of the hare.
I loved how the pastels blended along side the stamps. It was all a bit random but it made a colourful scene.
Till next time .
