And the products:
I made the project in roughly the same way as in yesterday’s post. The paints I used were lime; sea green; mint; metallic gold and sprays: aqua and bluebell. I used Sakura pens and Amsterdam acrylic markers to colour the fish and used a white pen to add highlights. Again I used alcohol markers to colour the stamped images before cutting them out and adding to mdf rounds. I wanted to make it look like the characters where floating on bubbles! I stencilled the fish using texture paste and highlighted with gold paint when dry.
I created a layered look by painting and stencilling the fish on to the back board as well as on the front panel. I stuck the two layers using cut up kitchen scrubber!
I used some leftover tattered lace die cuts for the foliage and sprayed with the inks.
‘Hector’ is the little fellow with the hat. Not having a great day I feel!!
