Hello my friends while you are enjoying the Visible Image new releases I thought It might be appropriate to re visit some of my old favourites too. The great thing about the VI range is that the sets mix and match so beautifully providing tons of creative scope!
These are the products:
I sprayed a A4 sheet of water colour card with water and sprinkled with pixie powders.
I sprayed again and then placed a dry sheet of water colour card on top. When they are separated you are left with two prints. I used one for today’s project and have a very similar background for something else.
After thoroughly drying the ink I stamped and heat embossed the cracked glass stamp in white sparkle and the girl stamp in teal.
I extended the cracks using a white gel pen and highlighted around the edge of the girl using pens-white and a little gold sparkle. I also stamped and heat embossed in the same white sparkle the small splinter stamp around the page and added texture doing the same using the script stamp. I repeated this script using purple distress oxide ink.
I also sponged pink distress oxide through the stencil to extend the dots. The cracks were highlighted using zig clear colour pens and some extra sparkle was added using glitter glue.
The sentiment was stamped in teal ink and the words cut out.
Finally a few sequins were adhered to catch the light.
I had forgotten how beautiful pixie powders are and of course you can mix them with your brusho powders.
And so on this day let’s remember all our battles…. past and present, large and small won and lost.
