Hi my friends I have a mid month reminder for you to join the Lavinia stamps monthly Creative challenge ‘ a place to escape to’

For today’s inspiration you find my little mice on a journey escaping to somewhere magical and amazing no doubt!

Here are the details for the stamps:

Today there’s some masking, inking, colouring, stamping and stencilling. And as usual I begin using a mopped up left over. This follows a clean up after using ink sprays for another project. There was some iridescent blue ink which reminded me of tree branches so I took it from there!

Here are the steps:

I cut masks for the toadstools to help with the placement. I gessoed the images as this helps to make the colour more vibrant.

I tore paper and inked the foreground.

I highlighted the foreground using Stabilo pastel pencils, stamped the ferns, added white gel pen highlights and diamond stickles.. of course!
