See what others don’t

Hello it’s Visible Image day and I’m continuing my look at the New release stamps.

Today I’m using one of my favourites! ‘See everything’ It’s GORGEOUS!! And so versatile. Use it as it is, use parts of it, or as I’m doing today, flip it to make a face using the rice paper / tissue paper and Matt gel medium trick! The sentiment set is awesome too!

See everything

The world needs art

I also couldn’t resist teaming it up with an old favourite!

Dare to be different

To begin I used an inky scrap from my ink mop up pile . I began by adding more texture with ink and water splatters and by highlighting and brightening parts with ink.

I stamped the image down one side and then stamped the top part of the same thing again on to rice paper. This was then flipped and adhered to the project using matt gel medium. I then hand drew a nose and eyebrow and stamped the mouth from the other stamp set.

Then the fun part- the colouring. I used Zig clean colour pens. I also covered the eyes and splattered black ink. The sentiment was added to the top left. Gold and white highlights were added using gel pens.

I really enjoyed this project. Hope you have a go.

Till next time..
