Here’s what the finished project looks like.

This project combines a number of things:- a left over gel press print scrap, some inking with distress oxides, some collage again using scraps, stamping, including stamping on to tissue paper , brayering with acrylic paint, doodling and colouring ! – a whole mixture of fun!

Here are some photos to show how it developed.

I began with aleft over scrap from a gel press session.

After some stamping I stamped some of the flowers on to printed tissue paper, cut out the images and adhered them to the picture.

The torn leftovers were adhered to the bottom of the picture using gel medium.

I roughly used my brayer and buttermilk coloured acrylic paint to add more texture and interest.

To finish off the project I added splatters, stamped the stems and used gold high flow acrylic paint to draw leaves and stems freehand. I continued to highlight the flowers using a white gel pen and posca paint pens. I also added some doodling here and there. I stamped the sentiment on to white card and added this separately and randomly stamped some of the other sentiments from the set along the stems.
