It’s that time of the month again- time for the Lavinia stamps Creative monthly challenge. We have a great theme this month, – Make it Bright -plenty of scope for creativity! As usual the winner will receive £40 of LS vouchers!
For my inspiration this month I have an underwater theme with the delectable Sebastian
Well it’s certainly bright!
I used the following additional stamps:-
This project combines inking, stamping and cold foiling using the embossing glue from Ranger. I understand that Wow do a version of this too.
To begin I created a colourful background blending some distress inks.
I stamped a few jellyfish, some foliage using part of Sebastian ‘s tentacles and the words using versa Claire ink.
I added highlights with a white gel pen and removed tiny circles of the background ink with water and a small brush to create bubbles.
Sebastian was stamped and embossed once and parts of him two more times using the Ranger embossing glue.
I used rainbow foil that I got from tattered lace a while ago. Once the powder is heated it remains sticky and you place the foil sheet on top, burnish then remove to reveal your multicoloured sea horses!
This is the waste left behind which could also be used to create a picture.
Well I hope you like it!
Don’t forget to join us for the challenge!
Till next time..
