I have something a little different today. I decided to make a little art journal for my daughter as part of her birthday present. Emma is an illustrator/ graphic artist and keen sketcher. This was my excuse to get out my Eileen Hull journal dies, gelli plate, paint, brayer and stencils!

The wrap over die creates the journal and the passport dies creates the watercolour card signatures and folders for the inside.

The stencilling was done over random prints from the gelli plate for both inside and out on to A3 card from Crafters Companion. The journal is made from mount board. The prints were stuck either side using double sided sticky sheets before being die cut.

It was a lot of fun to make. Must make some more!
