Hi there! I’m back with a mid month reminder that there is still time to join us at Lavinia stamps for the Monthly creative challenge. This month’s theme is ‘make it bright’. One lucky winner will receive a prize of £40 LS vouchers!
For today’s inspiration I’ve combined the use of vibrant ink sprays and stamping.
I’ve used the following stamps:
To begin I blended some distress ink – yellow, pink and blue on to a sheet of Sheena stamping card. I then sprayed dylusion sprays randomly over the top.
I dried the first layer and then allowed the sprays to drip over the top. I also dripped aqua irredescent ink spray from That’s Crafty and created splatters using gold sparks ink.
I stamped the fairy, buds and leaves in the following inks:
I highlighted the stamping using a white gel pen, a gold stardust pen and diamond stickles glitter.
I created the impression of movement using streaks of distress oxide ink and a fine make up brush. This area was also highlighted with the gold stardust pen.
