For my mid month inspiration I’ve chosen some of my current favourite stamps… the crows!! Oh my what dark beauties they are!

For this project I’ve gone for the random and lose background look! Plenty of splatters on an inky scrap left -over. All enhanced using paint pens and dots of colour. Of course the misty foreground uses the ripped paper technique lightened using distress oxide ink white ink and makeup brushes.

I used the following stamps:

Drake

Chanse

Great names!!

Here are the steps:

Lots of splatters using coloured inks on to an ink spray background.

Cut it down.

Today’s wonky shaped moon (sorry!) was achieved by first painting a white circle using a stencil and white gesso. I painted in dark patches using distress oxides and pens and the white hue around the moon was white ink and more oxide ink. I also added white dots with a paler white halo. -The white gel pen dilutes when water is added using a small paint brush.
