Yes it’s that time of the month again! Time for a Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. Congratulations to last month’s winner . Up for grabs this month is £40 of LS vouchers. The theme is ‘create your own dream’ lots of scope here. Get all those stamps out and have a play!
For a little inspiration I’ve had fun making this picture using some of the lovely new stamps.
These are the stamps:
Here are the steps following on from an inky ( mop up ) scrap:
(Above Sheena Douglass stencil) white gesso used for sun and rays.
Of course to finish I added the crucial finishing touches.
Some coloured dots using posca paint pens.
Shadows under the figures – hand drawn using Stabilo all pencil. And white and yellow highlights using gel pens.

Just found your blog very impressed your very talented I like how you have done child’s play will definitely be following you if I can figure that bit out as am not techno minded find what I want and that’s it I do Pinterest and like that it’s easier than some things I have spent 20 minutes trying to find Lavinia new stamps I expected to be able to click on new releases on there page and it’s not there am afraid a lot of sites don’t think of people like me that are not that clever you have an I pad or lap top in your hsnd and your expected to know the world with it in 5 minutes sorry about my moan finished now ( I like how you have broken down your child’s play card to show people fantastic idea for learning and excellent to the teacher YOU )
