Storm

November is well under way and that means a reminder of the new Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. The theme this month is ‘Winter wonderland’ … oh the magic of winter and it’s beauty! I’ve seen so many inspirational entries so far …And there’s still time to enter!

Up for grabs this month is £40 of LS vouchers.

For my mid month inspiration I’m getting a bit stormy. Poor fairy holding on tightly!

Here are the product links:

Oona

Willow arch

Mini berry

Mini leaf 1

Spirit of Christmas

The steps:

First an ink spray background. This time I’ve sprinkled it with a little white.

Next a gessoed foreground painted in.

Then the stamping in black and highlighting using my white gel pen.

I added the berries and then coloured using a range of colouring products: zig clean colour; posca paint pens and Stabilo pastel pencils were used to create the foreground shadow. I also added some tonic Snow White glitter which has a 3d consistency.

I added some splatters using white watered down paint.

I cut the sentiment apart and shaped each line to fit the curves of the foreground.

I added the leaves in green distress oxide ink. I inked the edges in red and used my Sakura starlight gold pen for some highlighting.

Don’t forget to check out the fabulous samples from the rest of the team for more inspiration and of course our friendly Facebook group

Good luck in the challenge!
