New month, Hello April! Hope you are all doing ok. To take our mind of things I hope you can join me for a Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. Congratulations to last month’s winner!!. Up for grabs this month is £40 of LS vouchers. The new theme is ‘Blue and silver’ … A bit of a challenge for a person like me who has rainbowitis! I’m greatly helped however by getting my hands on some delectable New release stamps.

The stamps:

The steps:

Ink spray on to mixed media card.

Create a mask for the moon to draw around. Also on copy paper stamp snails and cut out to make a mask. Create the shape of the hill to suit the shape under the large snail.

Using water soluble crayons paint in the hill. Fill in moon using white gesso and edge with white gel pen.

Fill in the detail of the moon using soft pastels and a reference photo.Add halo.

Stamp the main images.

Darken the edges.

Add a touch of colour and highlighting including a silver pen.

Mount and add glitter.
