Glow

Hello again. Its time for a reminder of the Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. There’s still time to enter by creating a lovely project using Lavinia stamps in blue and silver. I’ve been a bit naughty in my project adding a touch of pinky purple as an accent along with the blue… I hope I’ll be forgiven!

Here are the stamps used:

Aria

Mini orbs

Mini dots

Pink orbs

Blue orbs

The steps:

Start by spraying some ink on to white card. I also added drips of purple mica spray.

Cut to size. Use dark blue ink and both orb sets to build a hill shape.

Use all of the rest of the stamps and the same colour ink to create the scene. Also darken around the edges and around the top of the hill.

Taking a silver paint marker, colour some of the circles. This is very shiney silver and looks white in the picture.

Begin to add colour using a blue paint pen.

I decided to add some more colour.

To create the glow effect I combined white pastel, gently blended, and white gel pen around the outside of the orbs. I also added touches of colour to the fairy’s hair.

Finally mount the picture on complimentary card and add silver stardust pen to the wings and blue glitter wherever you fancy!

Don’t forget to check out the fabulous samples from the rest of the team for more inspiration and of course our friendly Facebook group

Good luck in the challenge!
