It’s mid month reminder time that time for the Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. Up for grabs this month is £40 of LS vouchers. The theme is ‘ My favourite stamp’ … A wonderful theme !
I’m still loving the deep sea themed New release stamps and stencils so today’s inspiration was a no brainer! This is a large stamp and I love it!
The products used:
The steps:
I did my usual ink spray mix on to good quality mix media card.
Then used some more ink from the spray bottles to do a little stencilling for extra interest.
Next the stamping. The same stamp at different angles.
I then lightly painted in the tops of the jelly fish using white gesso and once dry added some more ink used neat like paint from the spray bottles.
I then carefully over stamped the tops only.
I continued to add more colour and highlights with gel and paint pens. I also began to add dimension to the bubbles by adding blue ink and black and white highlights.
Finally the glitter and mounting.

Debra . It’s always A4. Then cut down to suit the picture. That size always varies. My work is quite larges. Mostly not card size. At least not small cards.
Ok so basically 8 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches then cut down, that’s very helpful. Yes I realized you were mounting them more like pictures than cards. Beautiful and lovely. Thank you so much for the recent video. It really helped me with the techniques which is what I’m really trying to learn so I can do my own thing. I am so grateful for people like you who sacrifice their time to help all of us. Thank you again!

I’m blown away with all your Wonderful, Amazing, Spectacular, Fabulous artwork along with the owner of Lavinia Stamps, Tracey and her brilliant design team. I can’t stop watching all your amazing videos and reading your blogs. I’m disabled, and living with chronic pain also, and find creating a piece of art when I’m able, can really take a person to a different and wonderful world even if it’s for a few minutes, I’ve only just received my first parcel ( one of many I hope) from Tracey, and can’t wait to try some of your techniques, unfortunately I’m in hospital at the moment awaiting an operation, but when I’m back home I’m hoping this will be the only medicine I need.can’t thank you all enough for sharing all your beautiful creations with the rest of us, you all are truly amazing and beautiful people.♥️🧚♀️🦋
