Hello my friends I’m doing a little catch up today in respect of my latest video tutorials.

You may have caught the Craft store tv ( formally Hochanda tv) shows last Friday where the Lavinia stamp and stencil sets for these projects were featured.

I’m sharing two of my show samples.

First up is Simmi. This is a little different and features the reverse stamp technique. If you have been following me for a while, you may recall that I created a project a few years back using the fabulous Simmi eye stamp where I flipped the image to create a whole face.

As I’m always asked how I did it so I decided to do a video tutorial with a new project showing the technique.

I wanted to do something mystical combining underwater or earth and the night sky. I also liked the idea of a mysterious veil.

As you know it’s the start of a new month with a new Creative challenge at Lavinia stamps. The theme is ‘underwater’ I was planning a different project more in keeping with the theme however, very sadly my mother in law died last weekend and the project was not completed for obvious reasons . I will try to do a more fitting picture for the mid month reminder if I can. If you were thinking of doing something similar within the challenge theme with Simmi I would suggest adding little fish and foliage to the stencilled area. I was restricted to the show stamp set.
