New story

Hello everyone, wishing you a very happy 2022!

It’s that time of year when we think about new beginnings. This year I’m hoping to make a few changes . The pandemic and its impact in terms of travel restrictions has made me more aware of the importance of my spending time with my family. Most of them live abroad in Spain and Portugal. So I’ve decided to see if I can sell up in Ireland and relocate to be closer to them. This means that I will be very busy with house renovations etc in the coming months. I am therefore no longer doing design team work. I will be creating content from time to time for this blog and my YouTube channel. I will still be using stamps and products from Lavinia stamps and creating videos for them when I can but not on design team terms and without the pressure of event deadlines. I also hope to create content doing different things- journalling, assemblage mixed media canvases and painting etc. not linked to any particular company. Let’s see what the year brings. I know one thing for sure… it will be busy!

Today’s video tutorial is about creating a new story a story of hope and strength. Above all courage. I’m going to need a lot of that!

You will find the video here: https://youtu.be/jAdpen46iAU

As always product links and information on how to join the Lavinia stamps creative challenge are in the description box below the video. This months theme is Beneath the moonlight . This is my contribution.

What will your new story be? Whatever you decide I wish you every success!

Till next time…

Lisa xx

You inspire me with your artwork. I was away from crafting for a wee while and when I decided I needed it in my life again I saw your “Bloom” tutorial and I was hooked.

What will my story be? Well, I too have left the Technique Junkies Design Team after 14 wonderful years. My last post will be Jan 25th. My sister and I are in two different countries and are going to start a true crime podcast. I’m also working on junk and art journals. I want to work more with the Gelliplate.

I look forward to seeing your work in 2022.l

    1. Thanks Sherry. Don’t worry I will still be making Lavinia stamps videos and working for the company just on different terms -without too many deadlines etc. Hopefully it will work better for us both during the coming months . X
