Hello again my friends I hope you are all doing well. It’s that time of year again when we start thinking of romance! ( unless you are me and it’s mainly just shopping and cleaning! Lol) However, for those of you in need of some creative inspiration for St Valentine’s Day I have this little piece.
It continues on last weeks theme of sunsets and water scenes and uses the January 2022 New release stamps from Lavinia stamps.

Don’t forget to check out the description box below the video for more product links and information on the music ( I get asked that a lot ) Also I didn’t use spray fixative on the pastels but you could if you are worried about longevity. The fixative does change the colour and blend slightly but does make it easier to stamp on.
The distress oxide inks provide a nice misty muted base for the pastels to build upon. It made a change from ink sprays. Of course It is important to dry between layers.
