‘Vantage point’

Hello friends I hope your week has been good!

Today we have beautiful autumn sunshine. I took this picture whilst walking the dogs. It’s not far from where I live.

Today’s tutorial explores contrasts and textures and in particular the impact of using black. The Autumnal theme continues, this time in a forest setting.

The little drystone wall is a nod to the area where I live close to the mountains of Mourne in County Down , Northern Ireland, where there are little stone walls everywhere and even in my own garden!

You may find the tutorial Here

I hope you find the tutorial helpful. As you can see, I’m a bit obsessed with using the lost shadow distress oxide ink to create autumn mist!

This painting is on it’s way to it’s lovely new owner in England.

In the meantime, my memberships on YouTube are continuing to grow. We have a thriving private Facebook group and I’m currently working on the extra video content for members. Thank you so much to everyone who have joined. I really appreciate you supporting me on this new path.

That’s it for now. I hope you all have a fabulous week!

Love, Lisa xx
