Hello friends and a belated happy new year! I’ve been on a little break over Christmas . I had my daughter staying and saw lots of family which was lovely!

It’s definitely colder than expected at night here in Spain and we have had a lot of rain. However when the sun comes out it’s still quite hot and really pleasant! I love sitting out on my front porch drinking a coffee and look out at the palm trees and the bridge to Portugal in the distance. I’m very blessed and grateful!

This week’s project was inspired by the beautiful and very magical full moon that we had last weekend. It was called the wolf moon. I wanted to create something a little more cosmic and must be honest that during the project I felt that I was in over my head! It turned out to be more complicated than I realised and took twice as long as normal. Hopefully I got there in the end!

It’s mostly pan pastel and pastel pencils with a touch of gel pen here and there. I hope you like it. I’m giving it to my brother for his birthday.
