This is for Pearl, who noticed I was away!
I thought I would revisit a few TL dies, previously used with fabric but this time using card to create a different look . This is the first in a series of two cards! I’ve combined the dies with some stencil work.
Card 1.
Here are the products:
I also wanted to play with my starlight paints from Imagination crafts and a rose stencil from Indigo Blu. I used pink sunset and passionflower.I mixed the colours on to white card. I then cut the result into two rectangles. One half I used for this card and set aside the other for the next.
I inked the stencilled roses rectangle with three distress inks.
I created some pearlescent coloured card using a couple of metallic gilding polishes from cosmic shimmer and white card. I used my rose die to cut three spiral roses. I curled these into roses.
I cut the sunflower medallion die in silver glitter card but this time I cut into it, removing the leaf shapes.
Next I cut a small banner shape and stamped a sentiment and edged with an alcohol marker.
I used a corner punch to accent the stencilled centre piece. I edged with gilding polish and placed a pink gem in each corner. I mounted this on to a rectangle of black glitter card.
Finally the piece was placed on to a black card blank using foam pads and the roses, leaves and sentiment were arranged on top with complimentary ribbon and dazzler gem.
