Script scraps card

I put this card together using leftovers from my scraps box. I keep pieces of card that I have inked with brushos and other inks and cut them into strips. Here I have combined a strip that I embossed with a Darice script embossing folder and gilded with Pebeo gold wax along with a complementary strip that I stamped in black ink with a Leonie Pujol script stamp. The final vertical strip was a left over piece from a stamping project where I used meadow stamps.

Once pieced together I stamped some ink blots in black ink using a Visible Image stamp to make the pieces look uniform. Some baker’s twine disguises the join.

Finally I used a left over daisy from my last project and cut out and coloured a butterfly that I had hot foiled using my Todo machine. I batch made butterflies about a year ago. I keep a few sheets of these in the scrap box all foiled in different colours.

Hope you like it. X
