Hello again. Today I’m back with the 2nd in my series of acrylic pour canvases using the new release Wonderland stamps and stencils from Visible Image. I certainly had a lot of fun with this one!

I used the Cheshire Cat stamp set along with 3 stencils:

I began by selecting one of my canvases where I had used the ‘dirty cup’ acrylic pour technique. I liked the crazy colours and thought it would go well with the Cheshire Cat stamp set.

Using some dies from Sheena Douglass perfect partner and Sara Signiture ranges I die cut in white some tea cups in different sizes. I didn’t use all the saucers in the end.

I stencilled the canvas and the cups.

I coloured the main image and some additional cats eyes and face using Aqua markers and zig watercolour markers.

The images were cut out. I then highlighted the stencilling by colouring the die cut cups and drawing round the stencilled cups on the canvas using a white pen. I also coloured the dots in yellow.
I stamped the fish bones. I heat embossed the sentiment in black, assembled the images and added shading and highlights with a black Stabilo All pencil and white gel pen -and of course there’s a little diamond stickles glitter here and there too!

Yes it is a bit mad!
Till next time..

This really is gorgeous Lisa, such a colourful piece of atrwork and a great start from the amazing acrylic pour canvas (really must have a go at this) and the teacups look so realistic. Think I need that stamp set too!
