Hello, from a rather damp Spain!Luckily we brought our heated throws. The world weather has gone a little crazy. Hope my friends in the North including the US and Canada get through the snow ok.
I decided not to do a snow project this week. As you may have noticed my love for soft pastels has taken hold. The truth is that I find it much easier and quicker to build up colour and create atmosphere with the pastels . I also can bring the silhouette stamps to life better that way. So I hope you continue to join me with my up coming projects as I develop this further.
Talking of creating atmosphere, this week’s creation demonstrates one way of doing this. As you can see I have called the painting ‘Courage’ I’ve been very struck by the many challenging things going on in our world today. The stag symbolises courage strength and hope. These things are much needed and I wish them for us all!

Another fabulous piece Lisa. I have only recently started using pastels, your creations have inspired me to give them a go, and I love using them. I still get very messy using pastels ( part of the fun) and find the different papers and card that are available for pastel work a bit confusing and sometimes expensive for when I’m just learning.
Looking forward to seeing and trying more of your pastel paintings.
