Flecks and flutters

This card is the second in a series using the Majestic Larkspur die from Tattered Lace.It uses the same techniques as card one in terms of the inky background with just a few tweaks.

This is how it looks:

This is what you will need:

I used a white DL card blank, some adhesive and some foam pads.I also used the same patterned paper in yellow for matting and layering.

The background was created as described in yesterday’s post. This time for added interest and texture I flicked some gold on to it using my ‘Flicky’tool as pictured above!

I edged the pieces in the same way as before in red distress ink and alcohol marker. I layered up the inked background on to foam pads.

This time I edged the corners with a corner punch. I die cut some tiny butterflies in gold glitter card.

I used some of the left over inked die cut flowers and cut a set of extra leaves in gold card.

I arranged and stuck these to my inked background along with the butterflies and added a stamped thank you sentiment at the bottom. Finally I placed gems in the corners and below the sentiment.
