Snow globe

The third project, a shaker card, features the TL quilted robin, snow globe and holly tuck-in dies. I’ve also used the waste from the snowflake tuck-ins. It’s another twinkly Christmas indulgence! This is how it looks:

Apart from coloured cardstock (blue, white, purple, red, kraft and silver glitter)and snowy acetate, you will need:

To begin, cut all the bits including a white circle frame and full white circle.

Colour the robin and scene background with aqua markers, masking the foreground.Place a piece of gold glitter card behind the robin. Highlight the hat with glitter glue.

Cut and glitter the snowflakes and fir-tree branches and arrange around the robin. Then place shaker tape around the circle edge with no gaps. Mix glitter and snowflakes and sprinkle on top (not too much). stick acetate circle on top and then frame on top of this. Stamp sentiment on the base and ink the edges.Attach it all to the glitter card frame.

Cut mats and layers from coloured card and emboss the top one. Create a tent fold card with blue cardstock and assemble the mats and globe, using foam pads for dimension. Finally add ribbon, Christmas charms, holly tuck-ins and cord using a glue gun.
