Hi everyone! There are New release stamps available today from Lavinia stamps! I was fortunate enough to be sent the new set! so today’s video has a little inspiration using some of them.
I love sunset colours! I could happily blend pastels all day. So much fun!
The ink spray background isn’t strictly necessary . However I tend to take my ideas and inspiration from the ink and it doesn’t matter that it was mostly covered by the pastel. It also gives me something to build on. There’s nothing scarier than a blank page!
Also because both the background and the colouring markers are water colour, they tend to blend together. This means it’s hard to achieve a pure colour. I found that it helped to blend them with posca paint pen for a more true colour and opaque effect.

Barbara Sometimes use spray fixative but mostly don’t. The pan pastels contain binder and are quite robust. Thank you! X
