Hello friends,

I hope your week has been good. I took a break during Easter.

This week my project stays on the theme of Spring. The cherry blossoms this time of year must be one of my favourite things! I thought that it would be fun to create blossom in a loose abstract way combining paint and ink pads and using them in a stippling fashion to build up the layers.

The painting draws from the impressionist style using loose brush strokes and blended with soft pastel to create the grassy bank in the breeze.
