To create the project as with the others shared at the beginning of the month, I used ghost prints taken from my gelli plate using Golden acrylic paint and the glow flower stamps. This provided a base to begin the design.I stamped the moon using gold acrylic paint and added and extended the steps.

I also extended the branch for the fairy and used part of the tree stamp to create balance for her tree perch. I used the tree stamp to layer foilage around the page using grey and black ink.

The scene was highlighted and coloured using Stabilo pastel pencils . I kept white areas around the moon but made sure the centre of the picture had plenty of yellow and light, pale colours.I added freehand bubbles and highlighted the fairy using white uniball pen.

The outside edges were coloured using water soluble wax pastels ( reds, purple, orange, black).

Of course the fairy wings and moon had stickles glitter added for that final touch.
